Swimming with the Sailfish

Even if done with basic equipment (fins, mask and snorkel), this really extraordinary and amazing exit is addressed to a more “sportive” public. Departure is around 6 o’clock in the morning towards Punta Sam (north Cancun).

Boarding on fast boats to get as fast as possible to the zone, at 60 miles offshore (approximately 3 hours by boat). The captains locate the birds in order to know where are the school of sardines and thus the sailfish.
Once they are located we go into the water as long as we want and enjoy this incredible spectacle with more than 80-100 sailfish going up and down to feed themselves in the school of sardines. Drinks and snacks on board, we return to Punta Sam when everyone is satisfied, generally around 4-5 P.M. This outing is not intended for everyone, as we remain offshore more than 8 to 9 hours and conditions may be harsh; the sea is agitated off the coast at that time of the year.
It is really a worthy experience, unique and magical for the enthusiasts of big thrills aiming to see exceptional things.
The season is very short; you can see them between mid-January to the end of February. Places are limited, so we advise you to book in advance.
